On August 15, at the seventh General Assembly (GA) of the 2026 International Olympiad in Informatics (IOI), held in Uzbekistan, Qingyu Shi—founder of Universal Cup—was elected to serve a three-year term on the IOI International Scientific Committee (ISC).
